Experience Description It’s been a long time so I don’t remember the specific details leading up to the experience, but I do know I was in the bathroom adjacent to my mother’s room. I was walking in and out of nowhere; I just remember saying, “I don’t feel good,” and collapsing. At the time, I think I had no medical issues; or it was very shortly after I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. What I experienced, made me believe in an afterlife for a time. I remember this more vividly than any other memory I’ve ever had. I was in a black void. To my left was a faint red light. To my right was a white light and I could hear faint orchestral music. I remember being confused but not scared. I did not move from where I was. But, out of nowhere, I heard a booming voice in my head that said, “It’s not your time.” I woke up to my mother on the phone, freaking out and sobbing. She was saying that she couldn’t find a pulse. I don’t remember feeling any sort of way other than, “Well, that was weird.” Background Information: Gender: Femail Date of NDE: 2012NDE Elements: At the time of your experience, was there an associated life-threatening event? No Did the questions asked and information that you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your experience? Yes
