Experience Description

Hello, my name is Tony. I am 63 years old at the time of this writing. For years, I have thought about sharing this experience with as many people as possible. Until now, I have only shared it with a small handful of people.

My memory of this experience has stayed with me all my life. The details have remained consistently the same.

As far as I know, this happened either just before my birth or immediately after. Either way, the memory has remained with me ever since.

I was aware of myself before birth. I felt very certain that I was coming to this place. I was not in a body like ours here. I slightly remember being small, yet somehow older. I was alive with consciousness, but I was being prepared to lose the memory of my prior existence. I was not ready for that. I deeply did not want to be separated from the comfort, safety, and love that I somehow knew I was about to leave.

I knew I was already separated from home in a sense, but I do not recall home itself at all.

I sensed that I was separated from a being of love and placed in light, waiting to arrive here. This may sound unbelievable, but I know without a doubt that it happened to me.

I was crying, though I do not recall being in a body. I may have been a soul or spirit. I am not sure. Perhaps consciousness is the best way to describe what I was at that time.

I felt completely unconsolable. My whole being, however small it seemed, was deeply sad. I cried and did not want to leave what appeared to be a place enveloped in light.

The light itself did not seem comforting. Perhaps it was preparing me to enter this world, but I cannot be certain of that.

The next thing I clearly remember is a comforting angel-like being of immense light and height standing within the light surrounding me.

I perceived this being as male, though there were no physical attributes that were distinctly male or female. I will refer to this light being as male. He spoke many things to me and tried to comfort me, but my sadness and crying did not stop.

I listened and somehow communicated to him that I did not want to leave the light, or whatever existed before the light. I wanted to remain in God's home. Yet I do not remember what it was like there. I only remember crying.

I wish I could recall everything he told me about myself and the life that was about to unfold. I believe he told me that I would not be poor, but not rich either. He said I would have a family with children who would love me, and that I would love them. He said I would live a comfortable life, though not one of extravagance.

I was told there would be hurts and pain, but nothing unbearable. I am not completely certain how clearly I remember these things. I hope I am not unintentionally adding to the memory. However, what he said at the end was very clear, and it has stayed with me for as long as I can remember.

By the way, I do have a family and four beautiful children who love me.

What is most clearly embedded in my memory is this. As our encounter came closer to ending, and as he prepared to let me go, this being of light began to fade. All along, he had appeared brighter than the surrounding light in the space we were in.

What seemed to be his light retracted inward, almost into a core within him. As this happened, I began to see the outline of a very tall man-like figure dressed in dark, long clothing.

He was not a dark entity. It may simply have been that the surrounding light made him appear darker by comparison, if that makes sense.

As his light withdrew inward, his appearance became more defined. He also stopped moving and became almost statue-like. Eventually, all of his light had withdrawn inward, and he appeared completely still and statue-like.

While this was happening, he kept repeating, “Remember God loves you. Remember God loves you.” Over and over again he said, “God loves you!”

I believe this being is my guardian angel. I do not know how he works in my life on God's behalf, nor have I seen him since.

I believe that when my time here is finished, his light will come alive again from within. I believe he will once again comfort me as I transition from here back home.

I hope the experience I have shared with you brings you some comfort. And remember, GOD LOVES YOU!
