Experience Description

Contrast dye injected into the brain caused anaphylactic shock, cardiac arrest, and severe seizures. I could not speak.

I stepped out of my body and saw myself lying on the bench below me. I saw and heard everything the doctors said and did.

I was not afraid and was completely calm. I remember that I wanted to communicate to the doctors that I was okay now, and that they did not need to be so worried about me. But I discovered that I could not speak.

I could also see things that were on top of a tall cabinet while I floated. When I came back to my body, I wanted to see if it was possible for me to see those items because the cabinet was so tall. I definitely didn't have the same perspective that I did while out of my body.

I got three rounds of adrenaline injections before they brought me back to life again.

I saw and heard both, the panic and the stress, among the doctors. Despite being unconscious at the time.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

Did you feel separated from your body? I clearly left my body and existed outside it
I experienced the doctors' fear and panic, heard their words, and that they shouted: "The patient has had anaphylactic shock! Run and get 3 adrenaline injections, and she must be admitted to the observation ward." I saw the doctor's despair when injection number 1 did not start my heart again, the same when injection number 2 also did not work, and all the staff's relief when the last and third injection worked on me, and I at the same time observed that my soul then sank down from under the ceiling and went back to my body on the table. And when I woke up, I tried to see all the things that I had seen lying on top of the tall cabinet while I floated. But from down on the table it was not possible to see any of the things that I knew lay on top of this cabinet.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? It was right after I discovered that I could see down on my body, which lay on the table, while I myself was so high up in the air, up under the ceiling. And I was very curious about everything that I suddenly was able to see, from where I then was!
I very clearly assessed what was happening, quickly understood that I myself was unconscious, saw that I had severe convulsions, but felt that even so I had no pain and no anxiety or worries.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness? More consciousness and alertness than normal

Were your thoughts speeded up? Faster than usual

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
I observed everything that happened at once, but even so, it was as if time went very slowly!

Were your senses more vivid than usual? Incredibly more vivid

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience After my heart stopped, I became much more focused, very curious, and observed very carefully both my body, my convulsions, the doctors' words and reactions, their actions, and the various objects that were both visible and hidden in the room. I quickly understood that I, who was up in the air, was my soul.

Everything in the room was very bright and very clear. There may have been extra light in there.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? I was somewhat surprised that the doctors were stressing like that, and I wanted to tell them that I was well, and that they did not have to be afraid. But even though I discovered that I could not speak, I was not particularly worried for that reason.

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Yes, I left my body, and I floated up under the ceiling while I observed my body, the room, and the doctors in the room. I did not leave this room while this was happening.

Did you come to a border or point of no return? I came to a barrier that I was not permitted to cross; or was sent back against my will
The return of my soul to my body happened very suddenly! Without any warning before this happened, when injection number 3 got my heart going again.

I had confirmed that my body is only a temporary dwelling for my soul. And that the soul is immortal, and will leave the body forever when I die.

That I had not yet completed the task I have here on earth, so therefore I was not supposed to die, exactly this day!

The event has always been extremely clear and distinct in my memory, every tiny detail, it is stored in my memory forever.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes
After the event I have become clairvoyant, can often read others' thoughts and feelings. I have gotten warm hands, and can find where on a person's body it is, can ease or take away pain, heal. I can speak with spirits, often predict deaths. I disturb all electronic devices, drain batteries, electronic doors will not open for me, payment terminals often have problems when I come there. I constantly experience supernatural experiences, and struggle with always drawing to me others' feelings and energies in public spaces, and therefore I become extremely exhausted and tired.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? Being able to read a person, that I always know if someone is honest or lying. It is also valuable to me when I can take away others' pain.

It was a short time after the experience, but I felt that they did not believe me. So I learned not to share with anyone before I was sure that the person would also believe me, because they themselves also knew and believed that this is a known phenomenon.

I saw the event as a confirmation that my body is not eternal, but my soul is!

I see the event as a confirmation that my body is not eternal, but my soul is! And that when I die, all my pain disappears.
