Experience Description

I was flying into London on a rare, fairly cloudless summer day. We had started the descent and I was idly looking out the window, sitting just behind the wing, when an orb appeared directly over the wing, about 20–30 feet from me. It was bigger than a soccer ball but not as big as two. It was silvery-gold, luminescent, with a shimmering circumference, yet somewhat transparent and blurry through the middle. It was the first orb I had seen with the naked eye. I have photographed literally thousands since then. I could not move or speak, or even pat my partner on the leg; I am not even sure I breathed for the good minute and a half it was there. I do not know how else to say it, but this thing knew everything. We just looked at each other; I am absolutely sure it was looking directly at me too, as plain as day. It knew everything and I cannot emphasize that enough.

I have to say that I work as a medium and write as such. I have met all sorts of phenomena, but nothing, nothing like that.

After the aforementioned minute or so, it slowed down and very slowly came closer to my window, maybe taking 15 seconds, then very slowly passed my window about ten feet away. I watched its trajectory as long as the airplane windows allowed, then stood up (hit my head on the overhead locker) to see if anyone else behind me was watching it too. Not a single soul. Everyone was reading or getting their luggage down from the overhead lockers. Unbelievable. I sat back down, looked at my partner, and could not say a word. Words felt like an insult, and far too shallow to try to describe anything. I made some monosyllabic noises, but even while doing so (they did not make any sense at all) I knew that what I had seen was way beyond verbal communication as we know it. I say again, this thing knew everything.

I feel, as far as feelings can project anything, that I had met God. I personally have no doubt about it.

Like I said, I work as a medium, and in that work I have met some really interesting and challenging phenomena. This just blew me away. Being speechless is rare, but I felt that language could not possibly… words were an insult to try to describe it. So I just remembered it. As if I could forget.

I believe in a God of sorts. Energy? Higher power? I do not ascribe to any organized religion. I did not expect to meet God flying into London. But I did, I believe.

If anyone can explain that to me I'd be delighted.
