Experience Description

I was alone at home on a sunny spring day and reading a book. I was under severe stress after a shocking financial loss that threatened to force me to sell our house. I have five kids. The book was about meditation and the vibrations in the universe. I thought it was nonsense and put it down. I closed my eyes, feeling the sun warm my cheek.

All of a sudden, I left my body and entered another reality, like going to another dimension. Everything was vibration. I felt an extraordinary sense of love. There, I met other beings who welcomed me and radiated immense love. I felt at home. These beings resembled spiritual figures such as sages, monks, and nuns. They were wise and serene. I felt so cared for, that I didn’t want to leave.

Then just as suddenly, I was back in my body. I immediately stood up, looking around my own living room. It felt unreal, like an illusion. The place I had just visited, felt perfectly real.

This event profoundly changed me. Before, I identified with my ego and intellect. Now, I see my ego as more of an observer. I instantly knew eternal life was real and death an illusion. I entered a state of grace, feeling deeply loved. I no longer just believed in God, but I became a knower. I simply know we have eternal life. A strong sense of connectedness grew inside me. I felt linked to all people in a deep way, seeing myself in others. I needed to help because they were "us." I started giving my time to those in deep need, donating money and love. I felt powerfully guided by unexplainable synchronicities so intricate that I knew God must be behind them. I’m still guided.

I feel deeply that what we call death is actually life itself. It is our source, where we come from and return to. I am not my body.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? During the event. I felt totally connected with everything. we spoke throug telepathy and feelings. It was very vivid and extreamly real.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness? More consciousness and alertness than normal

Did you see any beings in your experience? I sensed their presence

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased beings? Yes spiritual people. sages. other beings able to leave their bodies. just as i have done. Like thai munks. nunes.

Did you seem to enter another world? A clearly mystical or unearthly realm

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Unconditional Love. Grace. Peace. At homecomming. Serenity. Joy.

Did you suddenly understand everything? Everything about the universe I just know. It is a deep profound knowing.

God, Spiritual and Religion:

What was your religion prior to your experience? At the time i was agnostic due to a magical ivf-treatment 2 years prior to my obe. before that i was an ateist.

Have your religious practices changed? Yes Fundamentlly and totally.

What is your religion now? Other or several faiths well. I have evolved from being an ateist via agnostic to a beliver all the way to Knowing. I just know. i just know.

Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was entirely not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience it was a complete 180 degrees turnaround of all i thought was real. Life on earth is some kind of illusion or dream.

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Yes everything changed.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin some sort of communication way beyond words. No language. Some kind of direct knowing.

Did you see deceased or religious spirits? I sensed their presence

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? Yes spiritual people. sages. other beings able to leave their bodies. just as i have done. Like thai munks. nunes.

During your experience, did you gain information about premortal existence? No

During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness? Yes it exist. The whole universe is alive. matter is a function of counchiousness.

During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? Yes there is only god. Our soul is a part of that supreme being.

Concerning our Earthly lives other than Religion:

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Yes I just know - there is a god.

During your experience, did you gain information about the meaning of life? Yes we are all connected to each other. we share the same soul. a very strong urge to help my fellow human beings. the meaning of life is to give away as much love as possible witch then multiply.

During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? Yes Life is eternal and every where.

Did you gain information about how to live our lives? No

During your experience, did you gain information about life's difficulties, challenges and hardships? Yes I can se my scared little ego from the outside. I still have big problems with my ego. It still gives me angst and stress and other earhly dilemmas. But i no longer identify myself with it. It is some form of ego separation.

During your experience, did you gain information about love? Yes there are only love.

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Large changes in my life

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? Yes Some people think i am to deep. so i have to be careful with whom i share this with. Not all are open for this.

Was the experience difficult to express in words? Yes No words can explain this properly. I am sorry.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience I will never forget this. No way. It is just not possible. It is in me and everywhere.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes i see signs and guidance in people and animals.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? a profound feeling of being loved and taken care of.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes it ended my relationship with my ateist girlfriend. my development was way to big for both me and her to handle at the time. I grew into something else that i loved but she could not understand.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? No

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real more real than life here on earth.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real i have had a second obe... this time i went all the way to a white orb - our source. It is as if i have been primed for more experiances to come... Someone is looking after me and my spiritual journey. i feel guided. It feel so meaningful. Now i want to work with dying peole. To help them in the transition over to the other side of life.

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience? Yes i have had a second obe. ind i feel i am primed for more to come.
