Experience Description

I was hospitalized with COVID-19 in late November of 2020. I remember my dad taking me to the ED. When my test came back positive for COVID, they decided to admit me. A nurse came out to the waiting room to take me back, and my dad gave me a kiss on top of my head and said, "I love you!" I have no memory of what happened physically after that.

I opened my eyes and began floating out of my body up toward the ceiling of my hospital room. The room had bright circular lights, and as I was floating up, the lights became bigger and brighter until I was surrounded by light.

Right after I floated up out of my body and through the bright ceiling lights of the hospital room, I found myself in a completely different space. I was in a pure white space that seemed like an endless, borderless room. There were no walls, corners, or ceiling, only a vast, open whiteness that extended without boundaries.

The entire space was filled with an incredibly bright white light. The light did not come from a lamp, the sun, or any identifiable source. It was simply everywhere and seemed to fill the entire space. Even though the light was brilliantly bright, it did not hurt my eyes at all.

There were two beings of light hovering right there over me in the middle of this white space. They were shaped like humans, and I instinctively recognized one of them on a soul level. He was a Patriarch in my church and also a friend whom I had not seen or spoken with in years. I thought he was living, but I found out a few weeks after I was discharged that he had passed in 2015.

The entrance to a horizontal, rectangular tunnel was also right there in the white space next to us. The tunnel appeared to move like fire. The entire environment was completely still, quiet, and peaceful.

I sensed that the Patriarch was responsible for sending me into the tunnel. While we were still in the white space, he spoke to me telepathically and asked if I felt comfortable going into the tunnel. I answered, "Yes," and he gently sent me through.

The tunnel was horizontal, shaped like a rectangle, was bright yellowish orange, and moved like fire. The movement was also horizontal and going in the same direction I was traveling. I felt the thousands of prayers that were being said on my behalf. I understood that the movement within that bright fire was the thousands of prayers gently pushing me through the tunnel. The love and peace I felt was unlike anything I had experienced on Earth.

When I came to the end of the tunnel, it became dark, and I almost immediately found myself walking inside a dark disco club, looking through the eyes of someone else, as if I were him. My skin was dark, and my mood was on top of the world. I danced and had a good time with friends.

I then walked out to my car. The ground was wet, and it was chilly. My car was a brown box-style car, and the streetlights mixed with fog I found to be a bit eerie. I got into my car, and someone punched the side of my head from behind and proceeded to strangle me. I saw and felt everything, and as my consciousness was fading, I remember thinking about how sad my family would be without me. Then everything went black.

Last year, I discovered the real-world identity of this specific victim and confirmed that the case details matched my NDE. The details included the foggy night, the location, and the brown box-style car. Public records state that the killer only confessed to a punch that led to the death, and the official records note that there was no physical proof of strangulation. My NDE accurately captured both the punch the killer admitted to and the strangulation that lacked medical proof on Earth.

I was then in a completely dark room, and I heard two beings discussing whether I would be allowed to cross the threshold or have to go back into my body. As they were discussing, heaven began to reveal itself behind a stage curtain opening from bottom to top.

I saw lush, unearthly foliage, unearthly insects, and a few small animals. There were so many colors that we don't have on Earth, and they were tremendously brighter. The foliage was slightly moving from side to side and was conscious. The curtain was about a third of the way open and was still rising.

I heard my grandfather call my name. He was a Sealer in an LDS temple and was living at the time of my experience. He passed a few years later in 2023. I turned around to see him standing about six feet behind me.

He told me that I needed to go back because I had not fulfilled my purpose. I told him that I did not want to go back. I was immediately sucked back through a dark circular tunnel and into my body.

When I became conscious after being taken off the ventilator, I immediately recognized that my spirit was given a download. I knew that everything is interconnected and part of a collective consciousness. There is no other. We are all a part of Source and self.

When people do good deeds and make connections, we are helping self and connecting with self and Source. Time is not linear. Past, present, and future are occurring all at once.

Loving Source and collective consciousness are the only things that matter. This world is not real. Personal connections, relationships, serving the collective, and spreading love and light are real. Everything else is an illusion.

We have nothing to fear. Earth is a school for experience and spiritual learning. Oh, how I long for the love and peace I felt at Home, as I joyfully wait with anticipation for the day I am called to return.

I knew everything when I was in the tunnel. Everyday consciousness was dull and stuck in the illusion.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness? More consciousness and alertness than normal

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
Time was fluid and past, present, future existed all at once.

Were your senses more vivid than usual? Incredibly more vivid

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience Crystal clear, noticed every detail, colors more vivid and bright, so many colors we don't have here. Everyday vision was dull, foggy, hazy with far less definition.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience That's a tough one. During the experience I didn't have hearing. It was frequencies sent telepathically from consciousness to consciousness.

Did you seem to be aware of things going on elsewhere? No

Did you pass into or through a tunnel? Yes
The tunnel was rectangular, horizontal, extraordinarily bright, yellowish orange and moving like fire. It was moving in the direction I was traveling and I understood that the movement was the thousands of prayers being said for me helping to carry me through the tunnel.

Did you see any beings in your experience? I actually saw them

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased beings? Yes
They were people that were made of light. I recognized one of them.

Did you see or feel surrounded by a brilliant light? An unusually bright light

Did you see an unearthly light? Yes
Incredibly warm and bright, radiant, enveloping, not painful to look at, peaceful.

Did you seem to enter another world? Some unfamiliar and strange place
It was an earthly place but I had never been there and it was a different decade.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Peace, indescribable love, happiness, excitement, pain, fear

A stage curtain that opened from the bottom up.

Did you come to a border or point of no return? I came to a barrier that I was not permitted to cross; or was sent back against my will
Heaven was behind a stage curtain that opened from bottom to top. My living grandfather told me I had to go back because I had not fulfilled my purpose and I was sucked back through a dark tunnel into my body.

What was your religion prior to your experience? Christian - Mormon
I was struggling with my faith within the Mormon church

Have your religious practices changed? Yes
God is not a man who lives in the clouds. Jesus did not come to start a religion. He came to show us how to ascend our consciousness and teach us that love is a frequency. I don't go to church anymore because religion is man made dogma.

What is your religion now? Christian - Other Christian
I do not call myself a Christian or go to church. I still believe that Jesus came, but I believe he came to show us how to break out of systems and elevate our consciousness. I now refer to myself as a follower of The Way.

Did your experience include features consistent with your earthly beliefs? Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience
The existence of heaven, good works and spreading love/light were consistent with my beliefs. The fact that residual energy from trauma, evil or profound joy, love, good deeds and peace stay in the universe. God is not a man who lives in the clouds. Jesus did not come to start religions. These did not align with my beliefs at the time.

Did you have a change in your values and beliefs because of your experience? Yes
There are no others. We are all an extension of Source. When we help the collective we help self and Source. When we hurt the collective we hurt self and Source. God is not a man living in the clouds.

Did you encounter or become aware of any beings who previously lived on earth who are described by name in religions (for example: Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, etc.)? No

Yes. God is universal love, light, and consciousness, all that is, has been and will ever be.

The Law of Oneness: We are all connected to a single Source; there is no separation. Non-Linear Time: Past, present, and future are happening simultaneously in the now. Earth is a School: This world is a temporary illusion designed for soul growth. The Absence of Fear: Death is a doorway and the spirit is eternal, fear is unnecessary. Spiritual Mission: To act as a bridge by anchoring the love and peace of Home on Earth. Service to the Collective: To prioritize deep personal connections and spread light to others. Love is the universal frequency and the only thing that truly matters.

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Large changes in my life
I will not list them because they are many, but I will say that everything changed after my experience. Every aspect of my life is profoundly different. There is no more room for the trivial things, only love, connection and building solid relationships.

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? Yes
Some relationships are stronger and others have ended because they were spiritually and/or emotionally draining.

After the NDE:

Was the experience difficult to express in words? Yes
At first it was. After I sat with it for a bit it became easier to find the words to describe everything.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience
One remembers every detail of an experience that is far more real than real is. I don't remember other life events that occurred around that time because most of them don't matter and are completely irrelevant to eternal existence.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes
I came back as an empath.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? All of it is equally significant and meaningful.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes
I shared it with a hospital nurse a few days after I was transferred to an LTACH facility. She was grateful that I shared it with her. She said she could feel the spirit strongly, she cried, said "I got goosebumps" and asked if it was okay for her to share with her family. I said yes. Then I shared it with my dad. My dad believes every word and his life has changed in almost as many ways as mine has. He wants to keep learning from me.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? Yes
Haha! I must admit that I was a bit of a skeptic and thought a lot of it was an embellishment or completely made up. The universe proved me wrong. No. My knowledge did not affect my experience in any way.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real
I had the experience while heavily sedated and on paralytics. When I came off the paralytics I had some awareness of what was around me and also had weird hallucinations. The NDE was infinitely more real than everyday life and the hallucinations. It was the most crystal clear, high definition experience of my life. A memory that can never fade with what we call time. It is eternally etched on my heart.
