Experience Description

I was visiting my meditation coach and therapist. She works with PTSD (which I don’t have). We wanted to see what her technique would do for a healthy, normal person. We were prepared for a surprise, and we got one.

I was lying propped up on some pillows, wearing an eye mask and going as deep as I could with her coaching. She and her partner were seated in front of me on the floor.

Without any preliminary thoughts or sensations, the only rational interpretation is that I woke up on the other side.

The first thing that hit me was overwhelming beauty, then love, then peace and light. It was completely overwhelming.

I’ve read numerous books on astral travel but was never able to achieve it. None of the books said anything about the incredibly intense feeling I was experiencing.

I rate this experience 1000 on a scale of 0 to 10. It still chokes me up three years later.

My body was lying horizontal when I "opened my eyes." I saw four entities in the form of glowing, gold-colored, human-sized clouds.

The space was filled with a bright, golden light.

I was barely able to keep it together, when I asked them how they could stand to live there.

They replied, "How can you stand to live where you do?"

When I returned to my body after about five seconds, my therapist and her partner were glowing with a six-inch aura.

This has been the most intense experience of my life.

The place was uniformly illuminated with a golden light.

I woke up on the other side. It was suffused with a golden light. I was horizontal and I didn't move around.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? I was stunned by the sense of beauty and love and peace.

I thought I was well informed about the Astral plane. Ha Ha. It's so much more glorious than I could possibly imagine.

The place was awash in intense love.

I'm 78. My health could be better.

I cannot find a way to convey the intensity.

I will never forget it. I've related it a few times and it's always just as clear.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? The overwhelming sense of being there.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes
First was my therapist, then my wife (who was nearby). I think I've shared it about 5 times since with friends.

Common knowledge in the paranormal community.

Still as real as ever.

Simple. I went to another place, just as real (maybe even more) than here.
