Experience Description I had an anaphylactic shock as a reaction to an injection of corticosteroids for rheumatism. Five minutes after getting injected, my legs started to give out. I left the doctor's office and was standing in front of the main desk about to make a new appointment. My mother saw something was wrong and carried me to the chairs nearby. Before reaching the chairs, the lights went out and I just fell asleep. At first I wasn't moving. But after a minute or two, my upper body suddenly started having convulsions while I was unconscious. After a few minutes, the movements stopped. I suddenly regained consciousness with a huge gasp for air. This is what my mother and my girlfriend told me, because I was unconscious the entire time. From the incident, I only remember the part where I fell asleep and how good I felt the moment I woke up. I have never felt this ready to take on anything. I do, however, remember where I was in the "in-between" time. I remember a very beautiful green landscape, almost like a big garden. I remember talking to a person I think was my grandpa. It's more of a feeling I have rather than actually remembering a face. One thing that stood out the most was how clear I was seeing everything. It seemed like it was ultra high-density (HD). I could see every little blade of grass in full HD. It's like changing YouTube from watching in 360 to 4k. It felt different than any dream I've ever had. I was given the option to stay or to come back. I had important stuff to do, so the fact that I'm still here means I made my choice. I do not remember the conversation I had. I don't remember the face of the person I was talking to. I just feel like this was my grandpa and this was the theme. However, one thing I do clearly remember was that HD part. It was very strange. The landscape seemed more real than the real world. After the event, I felt just normal at first. In the first few days and weeks, I didn't really feel any way about it. But once time passed and this topic came up in discussion with my girlfriend and her friends, I kind of started to realize I had experienced something rather special. I have always been thankful for this experience, as it gave even more strength to the spiritual beliefs I already had.
