Experience Description

I was transported by ambulance from Belize to Clinica Carenza in Chetumal, Mexico. I had severe abdominal pain. I underwent surgery for 4.5 hours. I felt that I was floating outside my body in a room that had no walls, floor, or ceiling. The light in the area where I was floating was like twilight. As I looked out, it got darker in any direction I looked. I had an intense feeling of love, joy, and peace to the point that it was overwhelming. I still knew who I was. As I looked around, I said to myself, "Where am I?" As soon as I did, I re-entered my body.

Later, the surgeon said that they thought they had lost me and that, from his experience, very few people come back from where I was.

I had a prior experience after my father passed away. I dreamed I fell out of bed and fell through the floor. I kept falling and falling. Someone grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me up. Yes. I had an out of body experience after my father passed away in 1984.

Did the questions asked and information that you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your experience? Yes
My experience occurred during a serious medical event. The surgeon said I had only 30 minutes to live when I arrived at the hospital. He said my kidneys were down to 20% and my liver was starting to shut down. He said at one point he thought he had lost me. He said I decided to live and he could tell when that was. He was surprised I came back from where I was. He said once I started coming back, I fought for my life like a gladiator. They had to remove 80% of my bowel. It had necrosis.

Anything else to add? It was incredible and mystical.
