Experience Description

In the darkened waiting room during prayers for my sister, she appeared to me floating above the floor, surrounded by a glorious light. Gold flecks shot off rays in all directions. When they passed through me, I was infused with an overwhelming feeling of love.

After my sister’s passing in 1990 I heard about a class at Stanford University on “Lucid Dreaming” as a method to contact people who had died. I couldn’t afford the class but read all about it and how to contact our Loved Ones by calling/praying for them to enter our dreams which I did for several months as I was going to sleep by thinking “Hey Susan if you can hear my thoughts please come into my dreams tonight, I want to talk to you, know how you’re doing, and where you are and what you are now.” Finally, one night she did appear in a dream and when I saw her I instantly became awake, but stayed focused in the dream state and I said to her:

“Susan! You heard me calling you to come into my dreams!! She said “Of course I did. Let me ask you something…You don’t hear me do you?” I said “No, I don’t” and she said “that’s because you’re thick as a ton of bricks, what do you want?”

I said “I want to know how you are, where you are what you are now?”

She said “My reality is beyond the Human Mind’s ability to comprehend.”

I said “I don’t care, tell me anyway.”

She said “OK do your best to concentrate.”

Instantly the scene changed and I’m sitting in a chair facing her standing in front of a blackboard. She had her back to me as she was beginning to draw a large complicated circular design and explaining it. She starts answering my question while occasionally looking over her shoulder back at me to emphasize certain points she’s explaining.

As soon as she finished the design (I later discovered it to be “The Flower of Life”) she turned around and said “There, you didn’t understand that did you?”

I said, “No, I didn’t”

She said “I told you you couldn’t because it’s beyond the human mind’s ability to comprehend my reality now. I really need you to concentrate on what I'm going to tell you now but you won’t remember when you wake up. However, it will be “in you” and it’s important that it is.

The scene changed and we’re sitting across from each other at a small table. She begins answering my question as to what she was and where she was in great detail. She talked for another long while and as soon as she finished I woke up. All I remember was the Flower of Life design. I wish I remembered what she explained that she told me I wouldn’t consciously remember. I do remember that it was important and it would be “In me”.

I was in the ICU waiting room just on the other side of the recovery room my sister was in after her breast cancer surgery

It is almost indescribable. My sister was infusing me with love.

My sister who's body was in the ICU

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Powerful feelings of love as my sister was looking at me and her golden aura was sending out many golden rays in all directions including through me.

The Love my sister was infusing me with was wholly Divine

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Large changes in my life
I have had two other close friends who passed come to me through another person who told me what they wanted me to know. One was my best friend Dr. Vernon (Bud) Goltry, a doctor and surgeon who confirmed the stories of our 'Book of Life' in a great library in the Heaven world.

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? Yes
Sometimes I find people in denial of Heavenly realities and events and my report described here are not believed or taken seriously.

Immediately afterward and occasionally since the events that I've described to a number of Hospice patients and some of my current care-giving patients.
