Experience Description

I became pregnant with my twin boys in November 2016. It was a difficult pregnancy, with labor starting at 30 weeks. The twins were eventually born on July 1, 2017, at 35 weeks and 2 days gestation.

A week after the twins were born, I was feeling very unwell and, thinking I had mastitis, I went to the emergency room. The doctor arranged for an ultrasound, whereupon it was discovered that I had retained product of conception. A D&C was arranged and completed on July 10, 2017. The procedure went smoothly, and I was sent home from the hospital to recover.

At home, I was relaxing and recovering when I stood up to get something. Immediately, blood began gushing from between my legs. I recall soaking through half a dozen towels before the paramedics arrived at my home about half an hour later.

At the hospital, the doctors could not stop the bleeding. It continued into the next morning. I knew that I was dying; I could feel death creeping into my body. I knew intrinsically that my life was slipping away. I was so scared. I had a restless sleep that night, hoping that the medications and blood transfusions would do their job.

They did not.

In the morning, I was lying in my hospital bed and still felt this inescapable feeling of death.

I asked my nurse, “Am I going to die?” She looked at me and said, “We are doing everything we can.” In that moment of realization that I might not live, I saw three halos hover above me. Three beautiful, bright halos. I knew at once that they were from God. I knew in that moment that I would live and that I would not die. The halos hovered above me for a few moments, then they zoomed away through the wall and disappeared. Since then, the light from these halos has been within me, their brightness lighting my path.

Shortly thereafter, I was brought into the operating room for an emergency hysterectomy. While on the operating table, I was clinically dead and resuscitated with blood products. I recall hovering above my body, looking around the room, and then returning to my body. This was not uncommon for me because I had done this before, earlier in 2016 while in the operating room for a separate D&C.

I knew it was not my time.

Ever since that day, I have thirsted for spiritual knowledge. What was the meaning of the halos? Why three? Was it because of my Catholic background that I recognized them as being from God?

This event changed the trajectory of my life. I can now see auras, feel energy, channel Spirit to heal, and hear people who have passed. I can see into the future and channel my guides, among other things. I am slowly developing this spiritual part of myself and using it to bring love, light, and connection to those around me.
