Experience Description

I was unexpectedly run over by a runaway front-end loader. A dangling wire hanging from the axle twisted my polo shirt collar into a tourniquet and strangled me. A few minutes later, I was rescued from underneath the loader. I was transported to the hospital, where I was revived. During my time of death, I found myself in the presence of my Lord God Jesus Christ, who glowed from within with a white light beyond imagination.

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience During my experience, I could see and was aware of everything clearly, one hundred times more than I am aware of in life.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience Although I was able to hear, I heard nothing because everything was silent.

Did you seem to be aware of things going on elsewhere? No

Did you see any beings in your experience? I actually saw them

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased beings? Yes

Did you see or feel surrounded by a brilliant light? A light clearly of mystical or other-worldly origin

I could only see the brilliant fluorescent white light shining from within my Lord and filling everything around me.

Did you seem to enter another world? A clearly mystical or unearthly realm
I was aware that I was in heaven, possibly another dimension.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Euphoria.

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Did you feel a sense of harmony or unity with the universe? I felt no longer in conflict with nature

All memory of my past life was forgotten. I was filled with a divine understanding of all things.

I live aware of the spiritual reality around us. It is like walking with one foot in this life and the other foot in the spiritual realm.

Filling me with my Lord's Holy Spirit, my Lord called me to share knowledge of God in truth and in spirit.

Before my experience, I was indifferent with little morals or values. Now I follow God's commands and Holy Spirit with every breath.

Did you seem to encounter a mystical being or presence, or hear an unidentifiable voice? I encountered a definite being, or a voice clearly of mystical or unearthly origin
My Lord's voice could be compared to the sound of many bass instruments playing at once.

During your experience, did you gain information about universal connection or oneness? Yes
God's children are connected to God's Holy Spirit, having knowledge of past, present, and future.

During your experience, did you gain information about the existence of God? Yes
I became aware that my Lord Jesus Christ is God himself.

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Yes
Understanding God in truth and in spirit.

Our purpose is to care for God's creation as he commands.

During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? Yes
I wholly understood the existence of our eternal soul. We never cease to exist.

During your experience, did you gain information about love? Yes
Filled with God's Holy Spirit, I could only explain it as overwhelming, euphoric love.

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Large changes in my life
I became a totally different person. Before my experience, I was indifferent about life and towards others. Now, I am a deeply spiritual person and concerned about others.

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? Yes
My knowledge of the divine and spiritual gifts tend to scare people away.

After the NDE:

Was the experience difficult to express in words? Yes
All the time I was in the presence of my Lord, I was filled with jubilation as he filled me with the light of his Holy Spirit.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience
Throughout my life, every detail of my NDE is permanently and clearly burned in my memory.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes
I have the gift of prophecy and influencing things around me.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? My hardest moment was when I was revived. I cried for days wanting to return to where I was.

Have you ever shared this experience with others? Yes
I had my experience when I was seven years old, and I first shared it when I was thirty-two at the insistence of a priest. My priest had a similar NDE.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? No

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real
From the moment I had my NDE, I knew beyond a doubt it was real. My proof was in knowing things previously unknown and events before they happened.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real
I have come to realize God allows us to have NDEs so we can assure others of our eternal life beyond this existence in the flesh.

At any time in your life, has anything ever reproduced any part of the experience? No

They gave the opportunity for expression.

Anything else to add? I found we are more aware of God's Holy Ghost presence than we care to admit. While in nature, we sense an unseen presence, which is God's Holy Ghost presence in which all of heaven and earth are contained.
