Experience Description

I was eight years old in London. My mother and aunt and I were leaving a restaurant. My mother was driving home. It was late, and I fell asleep. I remember hearing a deep thud. It was a black taxi hitting our small Citroën.

Next, I remember waking up in an ambulance. I was cold and uncomfortable, so tried to move. The paramedics covered me with a blanket. I reached out and found my knee right beside my right ear. Then I felt my foot beside my left ear. I started to panic, and the paramedics put me to sleep. I had broken my right femur, and my leg was twisted behind my head.

Next, I remember two beings looking at me from above. I was lying down. They asked me telepathically if I wanted to go back. I wasn’t scared. I said that I wanted to go back. They asked me if I was sure. I said I wanted to have babies and a family. One being warned me that it would be painful to go back. I said I wanted to return regardless. I felt hopeful. The two beings looked at each other, and one nodded as a sign of approval.

I felt pulled backward, and then opened my eyes. I was on a stretcher covered with a blanket and a nurse was looking at me. As soon as I opened my eyes, she looked into them. She moved to call another nurse who immediately came. I looked to my right, and my aunt was on a stretcher. We were in the emergency ward. I was given anesthesia and taken to surgery.

The rest is history. I am the mother of two beautiful beings and have a loving family.

Did you feel separated from your body? I clearly left my body and existed outside it

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? At the time i saw the two beings i experienced consciousness and alterness. It was like natural alertness but it felt differently. More intense.
The sounds of the communication was deeper. There was vastness beyond but the beings were close to me.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness? More consciousness and alertness than normal

Were your thoughts speeded up? No

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning
There was no time.

I was lying down but floating at the same time. All around me was dark except for the light radiating from the beings. When i was pulled back i opened my eyes and entered an earthly realm and it had hospital lighting. It felt differently. It had different lighting.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Calm.

My entire experience was my interaction with the two beings i jave described.

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Yes
I was to have children. It was my purpose and desire.

During your experience, did you gain information about the meaning of life? Yes
I wanted to have babies and become a mother. It was a genuine little girls desire of heart.

During your experience, did you gain information about an afterlife? Uncertain
It was a very brief conversation with the beings. They seemed to watch over me but I just exchanged some words. It was clear that the question was if I wanted to 'go back'

Did you gain information about how to live our lives? No

During your experience, did you gain information about life's difficulties, challenges and hardships? Yes
A being told me it would be painful to go back. The ind on the right. The one on the left gave nod of approval for me to go back.

During your experience, did you gain information about love? Yes
I wanted to love my children.

What life changes occurred in your life after your experience? Large changes in my life
I am alive. As a result of my severe disability after the accident i learned to play piano as I could not play with other children. This became my “ activity” I now play at an advanced classical level, i teach, and it is a very important part of my spiritual and personal life.

As a child i just accepted the experience as natural but as an adult I now understand this was an extraordinary experience - NDE

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience as accurately as other life events that occurred around the time of the experience
9-10 months prior to the NDE event my 9 year old brother was killed in Colombia and my mother and I had to leave in exile to London UK. My brother passing and the sudden exile was a traumatic event therefore my remember clearly the events of my life at the time.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience? Yes
I have heard voices that warned me of danger. I have also dreamt of children that were to be born.

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you? My children are a very significant part of my life. That was the only reason I wanted to return.
