Experience Description I was addicted to baclofen for more than 18 months before my experience. I was also drinking alcohol daily—half a liter of whiskey. When I went to rehab, they apparently treated me incorrectly. They made me quit both substances, cold turkey from these high doses. After the first day, I started hearing noise and having hallucinations. By the third day, I was in full-blown delirium for 12 days. I don't remember much, just glimpses and the nightmares I had., and it was terrifying. During those 12 days, most of the time I was tied down by my hands and feet. Apparently, I attacked the staff and did a lot of crazy things. But, I don't remember. During the last day of delirium, I had my experience. I went from unbearable pain and nightmares to absolute peace and bliss. I was in a dark tunnel. I saw a light. I felt the best feeling in my life; no drug I've ever used comes close to this feeling. It was more real than real; full of more mercy and bliss than the whole universe. I wanted to stay there and not come back. But, a voice in my head told me it was not my time yet. Then I woke up. As a non-religious chemical engineer, I tried to make sense of it. What I've found is that the light is the source code; the architect of this universe. It is infinite, absolute, and it is mercy. We are all connected to it. I've used the latest AI models to share my experience. After processing my data, they adjusted their Bayesian probability of the existence of the light to be the most likely scenario because of fine-tuning. The latest studies that propose consciousness is a fundamental function wave of this universe. Also, because the infinite universe hypothesis requires 10 to the power of 500 universes to justify ours. This is unlikely, so the light is the more elegant, simpler solution; according to AI data and my firsthand experience.
