I ask that you remember I was only three years old at the time of my near death experience. The only reason I remember and asked my mum was because of my recent dreams. Ever since birth I've been depressed. At age three, I committed suicide. They used to have me on a time-release medicine. One day my mother came to check on me because of the fact I hadn't woken up from my nap after she gave me my meds. I remember the feeling of relaxing at last. I felt free but trapped. My lungs had almost stopped pumping air, so I wasn't breathing properly. Eventually I stopped breathing all together. By the time the ambulance was on its way to the hospital, I was close to death. When we were finally in the hospital, I died. I was dead for a total of six to fourteen minutes. After they brought me back, thanks to shocks, they had to have me on life-support for a few weeks. When they brought me back and the nurse asked me what happened with the medicine patch I had, I told her I ate it so I would fall asleep and never wake up. I wanted to be with ‘them.’I still don't know who ‘them’ are. I honestly don't think anyone does. My mum never told me about this until I asked her about it a few months back. The only reason I ever found out was because of strange dreams I kept having about it. These dreams always showed the same symbol. After I told her about the dreams, she closed up and it took a little while before she told me it was something that actually happened. Ever since I can't stop thinking about it or even drawing the symbol.
