Experience Description

When I was born, I was not breathing due to a lack of amniotic fluid in my mother. I died shortly after I was born. Of course, this has all been told to me, as I do not remember being born. But I do remember what it was like to be dead.

At the time of your experience, was there an associated life-threatening event? Uncertain. Illness, trauma or other condition not considered life threatening My mother didn't have any amniotic fluid during the time of my birth. When I was born, I was not breathing.

How do you consider the content of your experience? Entirely pleasant

The experience included: Out of body experience

Did you feel separated from your body? No I lost awareness of my body

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal It made me incredibly excited to feel the way I did, without need and without existing.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? As I was floating through a timeless void of absolute everything

Were your thoughts speeded up? Incredibly fast

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning Time wasn't relevant to anything that happened. It seemed like time didn't exist

Were your senses more vivid than usual? Incredibly more vivid

Please compare your vision during the experience to your everyday vision that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. The vision was through my mind, not any sort of ocular organ. Everything I saw was going exceptionally quick.

Please compare your hearing during the experience to your everyday hearing that you had immediately prior to the time of the experience. The sounds were unlike any earthly sounds, but I can't entirely remember what the sounds were.

Did you seem to be aware of things going on elsewhere? No

Did you pass into or through a tunnel? Uncertain Don't entirely remember the tunnel but I think it was there.

Did you see any beings in your experience? No

Did you encounter or become aware of any deceased (or alive) beings? No

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? A light clearly of mystical or other-worldly origin

Did you see an unearthly light? Yes Many lights like stars, some were different colors

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? Some unfamiliar and strange place It wasn't a place, but it felt like I was headed somewhere

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Elation, excitement

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Did you suddenly seem to understand everything? Everything about the universe I still remember the feeling of this and it is hard to attain but it is the best feeling in the world

Did scenes from the future come to you? Scenes from my personal future I remember them in dreams and they do come true, although there is no way to prove it.
