Experience Description

I went back to work after two weeks off due to being in the hospital for pneumonia and Atrial fibrillation (AFib). I was in a meeting talking to my boss when the room started to shift up, down, and sideways. I remember looking up to find something to focus on while the room was moving.

The next thing I know, I'm in a tunnel and saw myself lying back in the chair I was sitting in. I felt at peace, almost like a floating-in-water sensation.

I spent 4 weeks in the hospital recovering. When I came home, I felt empty. I felt void of all feelings. Even up to this day I still have that void feeling. I sit in a room full of family and friends and I feel like I'm the stranger and don't belong anymore.
