Experience Description

EXPERIENCE 1: My experience occurred directly after open heart surgery which occurred on a Monday afternoon. At some point after the surgery, the medical staff was to remove the breathing apparatus and something went wrong. Everything was visual; I could see and hear the staff talking: panic-stricken. All of a sudden, calmness encompassed me. I could see myself floating in a clear liquid (submerged) with fine cottony-silk material, 2-4 inch strips, floating about me. My appearance was without hair and the shine of baby skin. My head began to feel cool like water being rinsed over it. I awoke in an Intensive Care Unit bed with multitudes of individuals assisting me.

EXPERIENCE 2 & 3: For the next 2 days, even though sedated, I was fully aware of my surroundings. Each day I was awoken to being moved about on the bed by staff. I saw them usher my wife and son from the area. They attached defibrillators to my chest, I had no pain nor was I in my body: I was above it looking at what was being done. I felt a jolt of pain in my chest and seemed to be back in my body. This happened twice.

Did you see an unearthly light? Uncertain Bright light, everything was white.

Did you seem to enter some other, unearthly world? A clearly mystical or unearthly realm The tube of liquid in which I was traveling.
