I was hit in the nose with a sharp block of wedged wood that was thrown at me, it broke a blood vessel internally. I went to the hospital for heavy bleeding out of my nose. They packed gauze in my nose. I was kept in the hospital for two days; I bled intermittently down the back of my throat. I was improperly diagnosed, they did not listen to me (sixteen year old kid) when I told them that I was bleeding into my stomach. I lost almost all of the blood in my body. I threw up the blood, (never saw so much blood in my life) everyone panicked. I was rushed on a stretcher to an operating room. The hospital ran out of my blood type (told that later). The packing was removed from my nose; I hemorrhaged (lost pretty much what was left of the rest of my blood). I lost all strength in my body. I could not even move a finger, although I was praying continuously. Doctor put in a posterior packing by threading a tube through my nose, down my throat and out my mouth then shoved the gauze in the back of my mouth while pulling the chord in the tube out of my nose. I was under no medication to dull the pain and I thought my head exploded. The doctor kept slapping me on the cheek trying to keep me awake, afraid I would go into shock and die. I suspect that I flat-lined. I felt my soul leave my body. No more praying. I had a total, euphoric, out of body experience. I guess you could say heavenly or angelic. Picture that you are part of a cloud of smoke above your body but take away the smoke. All that is left is the soul. No pain, no sense of feeling, no sight, and no smell just the existence of the soul. But it exists. The doctor packed the front of my nose, I only know that because I woke up in intensive care with a nurse staring down at me the next day and I was packed front and back. I was told later that they pumped my body with plasma to 'keep me alive'. When I opened my eyes the next day, I thought the nurse looking down at me was an angel. She smiled and said, 'You were kissing the angels last night.'
