Experience Description

When I was given a shot for mononucleosis, I blacked out. I have no idea for how long.

I vividly remember floating as though I had no body. I was like an orb of energy, floating over an extreme vast area of gree,n rolling hills. The green was super bright not neon, but really green. The hills were tall but not like mountains. It felt as if they went on infinitely. I was perhaps 10 feet off the ground. There is no way to tell since it felt as though there were no real references of how large the hills were. I then came across a river or stream. On the other side was the presence of my great-grandmother and grandfather with about 50 or more other family members. They were standing all together on the ground in bodily form; dressed but not fully visible. It was like I knew who they all were but I could not see them clearly. All of them seemed to welcome me. There was no verbal communication, yet it seemed as though they were happy and excited to see me. I felt it was all of my family; most that I had never met. They were ready to guide me to the 'other side' of the river. There were pets there as well; like the presence of dogs and other creatures. There was no discussion or communication at all.

I woke back up in the hospital.

upon reflection now, I felt that I had an option to stay with them but never really understood why or why not. Either way, I was never really given a choice. I was just returned to my body.
