Experience Description

First of all, I arrived in a cemetery where my father (who died in 2003) was with Jacques Brel and Georges Brassens. [*Translator's note: Brel and Brassens were famous singers in the mid-20th century - now deceased.] My father told me that it wasn't time. The three of them were sitting on a grave and chatting (happily). Then, I met three beings who explained the unfolding of all life and one of them told me to make sure I didn't forget when I returned to earth.

I had completely forgotten what they explained to me when I woke up, I've been remembering it bit by bit for the past five or six months.

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Everything seemed to be happening at once; or time stopped or lost all meaning

Did you see any beings in your experience? I actually saw them

Did you see, or feel surrounded by, a brilliant light? A light clearly of mystical or other-worldly origin

Did you see an unearthly light? Yes As I was advancing, a corridor of light guided me.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? A great sense of serenity.

Did you have a feeling of peace or pleasantness? Incredible peace or pleasantness

Did scenes from your past come back to you? My past flashed before me, out of my control I learned what we become after death and of course my life is completely different now.

Did you come to a border or point of no return? I came to a barrier that I was not permitted to cross; or was sent back against my will

Concerning our Earthly lives other than Religion:

During your experience, did you gain special knowledge or information about your purpose? Yes I now know that every life (human or otherwise), transforms and improves, or not, according to our actions. The goal is to reach a 'superior' life, which we achieve if we do everything we can to improve ourselves.

Have your relationships changed specifically because of your experience? Yes Knowing what happens after, I relativize much more and I actually pity those who do wrong because I know they will suffer later.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? Yes I'd heard about it like everyone else but didn't feel it had anything to do with me.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real Because the explanations I received give a real sense to all life.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real It can't be explained but I know perfectly well that I lived it and didn't dream it.
