Experience Description

I hung myself from an extension cord in my garage. Although, I love my kids and family, I was so distraught that I gave them no thought. The cord ultimately snapped.

It was like I teleported from the moment my body went limp to the moment I woke up covered in vomit.

I remember seeing light but it felt like an oncoming truck or train. It was like everything else was only part of the void other than that light. I couldn’t look away from it no matter how much I tried. There was no hellish imagery, but it definitely felt like hell. The light felt threatening and like it was coming for me.

This was the most fear I’ve ever felt and I screamed at the top of my lungs, although my partner claimed she heard no screams. Suicide is 100% something that I would not recommend. I told my Dad I saw Hell or the void but I imagine he believes I hallucinated it all.
