Experience Description

I was in a serious motorcycle accident where I had a broken right arm, the left arm bicep and tricep muscles were cut to the bone. I had 5 broken ribs on the left side, punctured lung, lacerated spleen and kidney and broken scapula.

A day or two later, I had an experience when they were plating 4 of the 5 broken ribs. There was MASS confusion in my brain. I heard banging noises and felt complete confusion. I couldn't focus on anything.

Suddenly, everything went completely calm. I felt the presence of God. I saw what looked like squares of silver wire with fluffy, sparkling clouds in the squares. I was completely at peace. I had lost my oldest son Matthew, 2 years prior due to a motorcycle accident. In this beautiful peace, I heard my son say, 'C'mon Dad, let's go.' I told him, 'I can't son, I have grandbabies to raise.' He said, 'Ok Dad, I'll see you later.' I woke up. The first thing I told everyone around me was that I felt the presence of God.

I ride in the largest motorcycle club in the world and always thought there was something greater than myself but didn't believe in any organized religion. I still don't. I do believe now that when I die, I will be with my son again. If I feel the peace that I felt that day, it must be heaven of some sort. I also believe that I need to continue the path I'm on in order to be with him again.

I was telling a friend about what happened and he saw the same square, fluffy boxes when he had his near death experience.
