Experience Description

I was 18 years old. A lady who worked in our house, cut her hand fixing dinner. My boyfriend was doing his residency in medicine and he felt she needed stitches. We took her to the hospital so he could stitch her up and he let me watch. I must have gotten very impressed, because I suddenly fainted. When I woke up, I saw my boyfriend, a nurse, and the lady who worked in my house standing over me. I was lying on the floor, and they were holding up my legs. As I fainted I fell and hit my eye on a sink, so my eye and face hurt. When I realized what had happened, I asked how long I had fainted. My boyfriend said it was only a few seconds.

I was very confused because in those few seconds, I saw a whole game of soccer. The game was between my school and another school's soccer team. It wasn't like a dream where weird things happen out of order. It was a complete game, in consecutive order, and one that I think usually takes 2 hours? I don’t know much about soccer, so it is whatever time soccer games take. It all happened in a few seconds. It wasn't a soccer game that I had seen before; it was a totally new game.

I am now in my fifties, but I still can remember that moment because it was so strange. It's as if time was totally different. What does this mean? Does something like this happen to all people that faint, or is this like an out of body experience? Dr. Long, I read your book, ‘Evidence of the Afterlife.’ I want to thank you for studying what happens after we die. I have always believed in life after death; maybe it's because I am Jewish and we believe in reincarnation. Anyway, your data has erased any doubts I may have had. Thank you for helping all of us feel happier and less anxious. Warm regards, Carol
