Experience Description:

After I fell, I felt a tightening in my chest as I attempted to get up. After that I felt like I was skiing again and it was very peaceful and serene. Suddenly it felt like I fell again and I was out of control when my eyes opened I saw my feet kicking as if I was trying to stop myself until I realized I was not moving at all. When I stood up, I was not sure what had happened at first - meaning I was disoriented and there was nobody near me, except the people passing above me on the ski lift. Once I realized that knew I had fell and I was out. My body shook and I returned to skiing to catch up with my partner who stated that we were apart for four to five minutes.

At the time of your experience, was there an associated life-threatening event? Uncertain Accident Ski Fall Other attempting to avoid two skiers who had fell in a mogul field I lost control and fell slamming my sternum on a mogul, I believe my heart stopped for 30 seconds based on the time I left my partner and reunited with her

How do you consider the content of your experience? Wonderful

Did you feel separated from your body? Yes I clearly left my body and existed outside it

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? Normal consciousness and alertness

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? I am not sure how to answer this. It just felt like my spirit wanted to continue skiing without my body.

Did time seem to speed up or slow down? Neither It seemed like I was out much longer than I was.
