Experience Description

It was my cousin’s 15th birthday. During lunch, our group of friends were going to eat at a local fast-food chain called Wendy’s. I had to stay behind to pick up my uniform from the cleaners. I was jaywalking and remember a minivan had stopped to let me cross the road. I did not see the jeep behind the minivan. As I ran, I was hit by the jeep and knocked unconscious.

I remember seeing myself sleeping with my head down in my first period English class. I felt that I needed to wake up to go to my next class. I could hear my fellow students and truly felt like I was still in my first period class.

Then I woke up to firemen asking me for my parents' contact information.

I remember the experience so vividly as if I can almost go back to that exact moment.
