I had a miscarriage and lost a lot of blood. When I came out of surgery, they left me in a room until I came back to consciousness. In that moment, I had the experience. I saw my body on the bed with the nurse trying to wake me up. Since she couldn't, she started calling for help. I saw the activity around the hospital, as if there was no ceiling. I felt very welcome and wonderfully good, on something that felt like cotton. It was warm and bright. During the experience, I thought about no one, not even my children who were young at the time.
