Experience description: 

      I was walking in the park with a friend on a nice cool breezy summer night. I noticed my shoestring was untied and sat on a wall to tie it. Before I knew what hit me my heart felt like it was racing, I grabbed my chest and was immediately surrounded by the brightest light I had ever seen, but I was looking right into it and then I felt as if a blanket of love had been wrapped around me. The love I felt told me that this had to be God. A voice came out of the light and told me of when it had saved me from myself many times. The voice told me a lot of things my future was revealed, and my true destiny in life was also revealed. the last thing that happened was the voice gave me the choice to live here on earth or come and be with God for all eternity. I chose to live, and God chose to give me another chance. One last thing, the whole time this was taking place I could hear my best friend in the background yelling that my body was glowing like a light bulb.

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  Yes

      What was it about the experience that makes it hard to communicate?  People would think you were crazy if you told them you could talk with God, and believed in real angels that walk around us everyday. They do not understand that, why would God pick you to talk to and not them, but what they don't know is God does talk to everyone, it is up to us to CHOOSE to listen.

At the time of the experience, was there an associated life threatening event?  Yes

      Describe:  Heart Attack, At the time I did not know that I was developing Coronary Artery Disease, Three years ago I had to have 6 bypass Heart surgery and the doctors said that it looked as if the development of plaque in my arteries started when I was 15 yrs. old.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?  I could hear everything, But I could not take my eyes from the light.

Was the experience dream like in any way?  Not sure

Did you experience a separation of consciousness from your body?  No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?  LLLLOOOOVVVVEEEE

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?  Just the voice in the light.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?  No

Did you see a light?  Yes

Did you meet or see any other beings?  No

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?  Yes

      Describe:  I was shown the real reason we are here to begin with, It changed my life forever, It was like being reborn.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?  Yes

      Describe:  The voice told me that something was going to happen on my 32nd birthday that would change my life forever and I had no power to do anything about it. On my 32nd birthday my first wife took our two children and left me. Until then I was not doing what the voice in the light told me to do to fulfill my reason for being here. After that my life did change forever. 

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?  No

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?  Yes

      Describe:  It felt like time was standing still.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?  Yes

      Describe:  Read above letter.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?  No

Did you become aware of future events?  Yes

      Describe:  Read above.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision to return to the body?  Yes

      Describe:  I was given a choice.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?  Yes

      Describe:  Being able to tell who is Truly good at heart or not, After the experience, I am now aware of a presence that is always with me to guide me, I am not sure if this is an angel or God, but the guidance is always good.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?  Yes

      Describe:  Now I know the truth for me.

Has the experience affected your relationships?  Daily life?  Religious practices etc.?  Career choices?  Every day is brand new and to be cherished. I am now a Nurse and on the right path to fulfilling my true purpose.

Have you shared this experience with others?  Yes

      Describe:  No one believed.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  Relief that I had been given a second chance.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?  The best part was the love I could feel coming from the light. the worst part was losing my best friend, I think the experience frightened him.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?  That we are all special, and no one has a right to take that away from us. God did break the molds as soon as he made us.

      Describe:  I went back to College, and became a Nurse
