I was about 8 years old. I was holding my grandfather's to cross the road. On the other side of the road, my brother came out from a pastry shop showing a chocolate egg. I was so excited at the idea that I escaped from the hand of my grandfather and ran across the street.
A moment later I was about ten meters above the thread of light which held the street lighting lamp (this thread is about fifteen meters above the road as well).
I did not understand where I was, but I felt good and no pain. I was just surprised. I saw only the wire with the lamp, not passed on the street car. After a while I began to understand where I was. I looked around and saw from a distance (approximately 70 meters) a figure on the ground at the edge of the pavement. It was my mother who held a baby in her arms. I felt a sudden urge such that I had started down toward the scene. A moment later, I was in the arms of my mother who was crying. They were very concerned since I was hit by a car and banged on the side of the road. An ambulance arrived and they told me to walk. I discovered that I was limping and felt pain because of my leg.
But I was happy and continued to repeat that "I had flown" but I thought it was because of the accident. I was too naive to think of other explanations. I insisted in the ambulance, repeating that I had flown and I had seen my mother on the ground with me, and I was still excited for the "flight" and reassured my mother that my pain in my leg was not strong.
Only years later I understood the explanation that the incident could not explain why I was "hanging" a few moments at twenty to thirty meters in height and seeing my mother and me on the ground (the only moment of "fear" but lasted a fraction of a second).
