Experience description: 

I was working in a restaurant (2nd shift) & was cleaning up. I climbed on the chair to put something on a high shelf (as I did every night) & when I was going to come down, I kinda slipped. I thought one of the bars was going to go right through me & was sure I was going to die.

I saw a man (like a father figure, although my father was alive at the time) next to a huge screen like a TV. I was shown my life on this screen-it wasn't like a movie-it was more like one picture after another but there were hundreds of pictures in this second or two.

The fatherly figure communicated to me that my life wasn't over yet, that I hadn't lived long enough & then it was over.

I always thought that when some would say "I saw my life flash before my eyes" that it was just a saying-I didn't know it really happens to people.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       Hasn't affected me at all. I've had OBS when I was a kid (thought they were just dreams back then). I've always been a good person.

I have 2 sisters that RV with me sometimes. They're the only people who really believe all this stuff. Everyone else thinks it was just a dream.
