Experience description: 

floating in the orange glow of light feeling overwhelmed by the joy and happiness I felt

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes     it was such a joyful beautiful happy experience that nothing on this earth compares to it

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes     my car was hit by a tractor trailer going about 70 miles an hour

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    floating upward as if on and escalator inside of an orange glow of light

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness?    More consciousness and alertness than normal

If your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience was different from your normal every day consciousness and alertness, please explain:            it was a total feeling and understanding of what I felt looking down on the accident as it was going to look like when the accident was finished I felt no connection to earth other than observation if the scene I was floating in the light going upward and feeling a joy and happiness so far beyond any thing I've ever felt on earth

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?           Yes            the orange glow as if an aura within which I was floating

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     Yes            that when we do die it is the most wonderful and joyful experience on our way to the next journey

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?     Yes     what to expect when we pass from this world

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     a week and then many times since, people were very encouraged by my experience

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    No      

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was definitely real    viewed the reality of it always the same as a gift given to me to cherish
