EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I didn't see a light or deceased loved ones but I recall looking at [ although I had no eyes or a body ] at a bluish green almost translucent membrane. This membrane dominated an entire side of wherever I was.  I could  not see through this membrane but I could see shadow movement going on behind it and hear sounds and could feel the presence of many some things behind it. I not only had very enhanced senses but my sense of taste an smell were so enhanced that I could taste and smell this membrane. Each time they stopped my heart I saw this with perfect clarity. I wasn't afraid but looking at it but I could sense great energy behind this membrane and it did not seem entirely benign. Nor did it seem evil. It was like there were a great many different personalities interacting with each other behind it.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes     it is somewhat difficult to explain because of the difference in time that seems to exist between this world and what ever the other side is. what is only a few seconds here seems much longer in the other side.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes     I was being treated for sever heart palpitations by EMT's first in a  clinic then in an ambulance and then twice by Dr's in the intensive care unit at a hospital. I was given a drug in an IV that stopped my heart with the intentions of starting it back up and hopefully would resume it's old beat rate. Each time my heart was only stopped for 10 - 20 seconds each time but it seemed much longer when it was stopped.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    Not sure I really understand this question but I was very alert before and after each time they stopped my heart.  But in this other state I was much more than what I am now. A sense of power without the ego.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness?    More consciousness and alertness than normal

If your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience was different from your normal every day consciousness and alertness, please explain:            Not sure I really understand this question but I was very alert before and after each time they stopped my heart.  But in this other state I was much more than what I am now. A sense of power without the ego.

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?  Yes     I did not experience brightness but I did experience awareness and clarity on a scale that I cannot begin to explain. My sense's are 2 dimensional now but during this experience. The best way to describe it would be I could that I could sense an added depth to things. This life seems flat compared to the other.

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?
Yes     I could hear but not the same way I can hear now. Very difficult to explain but there was an added depth that we do not have here.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Uncertain

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            I felt no fear and no pain and I didn't really care if I did not go back. Awe and wonderment. I wasn't surprised because I had this feeling like this was somehow familiar to me.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          No

Did you see a light?           No

Did you meet or see any other beings?           No       Something was communicated to me from this membrane. Not in words but I cannot remember it or maybe I don't want to remember it.

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?    No       Not then but a few months later I'm having to relive so many past events that I had forgotten and they haven't stopped.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No       They communicated things to me in a way that I am not able to express them in words. How would I express something with 2 dimensional communication tools that are 4 dimensional.

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?           No

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes     No question about it. What we call time here is not accurate. It works for our word but it does not have the depth [ for lack of a better word] for the other. I don't think time really exists there at least not in the way that we know it here.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     Yes     I wish I could explain it. I don't think that it was special but it explained certain things instantly and without words. I lost interests in many things after this experience. Mostly in my desire for material things. Things like a big house and a lot of money [ although a little is nice] chasing women and wanting sex seems silly now.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? Yes     I think so. I was not permitted to cross into that membrane yet. They would not let me. I knew with complete certainty that I would not die that day. It was not my time.

Did you become aware of future events?       Uncertain
We are facing very hard times ahead. So much suffering, death, ugliness, it's going to be bad. And the sad thing is we have the power to change it but the majority of people are ignorant of this and they must learn before it can get better.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?     Uncertain      I feel different and see people differently than before. I can tell when someone is not telling me the truth much better than before.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     I told a couple of coworkers and family members and although they listened I could tell that they thought I was crazy so I no longer bring it up.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    Yes     A little. You know the whit light at the end of the tunnel, seeing deceased loved ones.

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was probably not real         Although it was vivid I did not really want to think about it but it kept coming back to me like it happened yesterday

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you?            The entire experience was meaningful and I think of it often and can see it as if it had been imprinted upon my soul. I can see it when ever I think about it as if it just happened.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:            Experience was probably real            Although it was vivid I did not really want to think about it but it kept coming back to me like it happened yesterday

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?           Yes     The only relationships that matter to me are with my daughters. I'm single and I used to spend a great deal of time and energy trying to meet the opposite sex. I no longer care about that . It seems so trivial and pathetic to waste so much time and energy on that.

Have your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?
No

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         No       I don't drink, smoke, take any legal or illegal drugs or medications.

Did the questions asked and information you provided so far accurately and comprehensively describe your experience?         Yes     I not an expert in this and I question my experience often and not sure if I really understand it so I cannot answer this question.

Are there any other questions we could ask to help you communicate your experience?   Thanks for allowing me to share this with you.
