EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I went to my local hospital with a swollen stomach and in great pain . I went by ambulance to the Emergency Room, the doctor wanted to send me home but my husband refused to take me home and insisted they admit me.  I lay all night with poison seeping into my body until the next morning I was air evacuated to St. Louis hospital with doctors waiting to operate on me. I was cut open from my breast to my pelvic area to remove the septic that had gone all through my body. the doctors told my family that I would not make it and to call all the family in to  say good bye. I was on complete life support from the tine I left the local hospital and for 2 weeks after my operation, which consisted of removal of half my colon and part of my liver plus being flushed out of my system all the poison and I had to have blood transfusions.

While I laid on my death bed knowing nothing  of this world   I was on the beach with my  mother holding her hand and walking on the sand with a dolphin in the water near by. the water seemed white and all else was this grey sort of color, but transparent too. my father was standing on a hill by this big building with lots of windows but I couldn't see in the windows because they were black out. my mother and father look the same , but different too. this place was so peaceful and wonderfully beautiful I never wanted to leave. there was this slab that was pure white and I was laying on it with this man standing at my head and he was trying to talk me into letting someone try something one more time and I didn't want them to I wanted to stay right where I was and not come back. he talked me into letting them do this one more time and I woke up on mothers day to find out I was in the hospital. I remember everything was grey and white and no movement what so ever. there was a dolphin laying by my side while I was on this slab and it was smiling at me. all was so peaceful and I never wanted to leave I was so happy I guess God wanted me to finish what he put me here to do. I need to say that my mother and father have been dead for a number of years

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes     my colon burst and I was full of septic

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    in this place I knew everything

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness?    Normal consciousness and alertness

            in this place I knew everything

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?  Yes     everything seemed sort of grey but transparent

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?            No      

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            love joy peaceful calm happy

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          No      

Did you see a light?           No      

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     mother and father and Jesus

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?    No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No      

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?            Yes     this place I was in was beautiful even though it was grey and white and I have never been there before this

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Uncertain      I know this now that our time is not Gods time because I was in this place for what seemed like 30 min. when I was in the life support for 2 weeks

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     No      

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? No      

Did you become aware of future events?       No           

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?     No      

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     AS SOON AS I WAS ABLE TO TALK I STARTED TELLING MY STORY

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    No      

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was definitely real    I KNOW THIS IS REAL BECAUSE I SAW AND FELT MY MOTHER AND I SAW JESUS AND I SAW MY FATHER

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you?    I SAW MY MOTHER AND FATHER WHICH HAD BEEN DEAD FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:            Experience was definitely real    MY DOCTORS SAID I WAS A MIRACLE AND THAT THEY DID NOT SAVE MY LIFE THAT GOD SAVED MY LIFE AND I KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE BECAUSE I HAD ONLY A VERY SLIGHT CHANCE OF MAKING IT

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?           Yes     CLOSER TO PEOPLE AND AM MORE CALM AND UNDERSTANDING

Have your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?            No           

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         No                  

Did the questions asked and information you provided so far accurately and comprehensively describe your experience?         Yes     BUT I SEEM TO BE ABLE TO TELL MY STORY IN PERSON BETTER THAN I CAN ON PAPER BECAUSE I CANT WRITE DOWN WHAT I FEEL LIKE I CAN TELL IT
