Maria N's Possible NDE

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I was suffering from bronchitis and I went to hospital to have some x-rays done. Before going into the x-ray room, I felt short of air. I couldn’t breathe. I felt as if I was dying, I felt death very close, I knew I was going to die. I told the nurse who was helping me that I was dying. I wanted to see my daughter, who had gone out, so she could know that I was dying.

All of a sudden, I felt something coming out of my body, something from myself was coming off me. I didn’t want this to carry on before I could see my daughter. Something was pushing me to leave the chair where I was sitting.

My mind was telling me that I didn’t want to go before I could see my daughter and tell her about the beautiful experience I was going through. I closed my eyes and saw a virgin; something wanted to take me but when I insisted on wanting to see my daughter, it left me alone and I felt my body back on the chair again.

I think that if I hadn’t refused, I would have died, I don’t know, but when I refused, the force that I was feeling left me alone. In spite of everything I didn’t feel frightened at all, but a pleasant sensation; it was something nice of which I wasn’t afraid of. It was like saying: You stay on earth or you leave. Something like that.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         No

I felt death. Death gave me a choice: you stay on earth or you go. The feeling to go was a very strong one since it was a very nice sensation, but I was also thinking of my daughter a lot. I wanted my daughter to know that I was leaving happy and content. I only wanted her to know. Anyway, I think this was the reason for my delay and why I stayed.
