Experience description: 

      I was transported on life flight chopper, and they put the wires onto my heart to watch my vital signs.  Then they said: we are losing him and then stuck me with a long needle in my chest;  At that time everything went black so black it was as though I could feel it.  Then I seen a ball of light that seemed to be moving closer to me, it seemed to rouse interest in me at the time, I was moving closer to the ball it was perfectly round with twinkles in it.  Then a big hand and arm very strong looking came into view coming to grasp this ball of light all the time saying with a low voice saying; I have everything under control.  It was as if I was a part of this light somehow.

I felt afraid no more as soon as I seen the light and the voice.

Was the experience difficult to express in words?  No

At the time of the experience, was there an associated life threatening event?  Yes

      Describe:  I fell and had my head smashed, resulting in a much loss of blood, and brain damage.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?  I was aware of nothing going on in the life flight chopper after they said we are losing him, and it went black.

Was the experience dream like in any way?  NO  its was very real to me and still is.  I have tried to dismiss it as a dream but No dream has ever been like that before or after.

Did you experience a separation of consciousness from your body?  Yes

Describe your appearance or form apart from your body:  I felt I was a part of this ball of light that was drawing me.  I was the twinkles in it.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?  All fear was gone, and a restfulness was all around me.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?  All sound of the engine of the chopper in flight stopped, it became very quite.

But the sound of the voice a calm voice reassuring me that everything will taking care of.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?  Uncertain

      Describe:  I was nearing a great ball of light that seemed to draw me gently to it.

Did you see a light?  Yes

      Describe:  A ball that looked round like a moon but only very white with twinkles in it.

Did you meet or see any other beings?  No

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?  Yes

      Describe:  Past events that I had forgot past so fast I could to believe it the speed.

Things I thought I had forgot about, like faults.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?  No

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?  Yes

      Describe:  I feel it is near but not reachable by me.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?  Yes

      Describe:  I know I lived my life's events all over in a moment of time.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?  Yes

      Describe:  That everything is simpler then I ever thought before.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?  Yes

      Describe:  The ball of light would not let me enter it, only the voice that spoke was all around me and in me.

Did you become aware of future events?  No

Were you involved in or aware of a decision to return to the body?  No

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?  No

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?  Yes

      Describe:  I am not afraid of death no more.

Has the experience affected your relationships?  Daily life?  Religious practices etc.?  Career choices?  My fears have changed, rather then being death directed I am life directed.

I still have depression at times, but I have no desire to end my life.

Have you shared this experience with others?  Yes

      Describe:  They felt calmed by what I said.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  Wonderment.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?  That I seen this ball of light but could not stay longer to learn more.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?  It was real, and not a dream.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?  Yes

      Describe:  I do not have a scary fear of death no more.
