I was in extreme pain with chest pains when I heard nurse yell at doctor losing blood pressure went into tunnel it was black .moving at high rate of speed. couldn't understand what was going on. all of a sudden I didn't care I felt so peaceful. saw light at end of tunnel and wondered what that was. it was very small. I thought I cant fit thru that hole. that worried me. I finally realized I wasn't in my body. about that time they zapped me with defibrillator. I woke up to everybody crying. after surgery the next day they got me up and made me walk. the first thing I said to my wife and kids was forgive me for what I was

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words?          No     

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes    heart stopped and blood pressure went to zero. just as fast as they could they zapped me and boom I was back. took me downstairs when doctor got another emergency. he run off and left me. people watching me run out in hall and found another heart surgeon. he did two bypasses.

          Uncertain     I heard only my thoughts nothing else

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?        Yes    dark black tunnel with light at end

Did you see a light?         Yes    it was very small at first getting larger as I went. when they zapped me sill wasn't big enough for me to go thru

Have you shared this experience with others?        Yes    3 days. some laughed and at end of tunnel I would fall straight down

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   I went to church and entered in family faith catholic

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:          Experience was definitely real         god was giving me a new chance to redeem myself
