EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I was a passenger asleep in a car that my friend was driving, he fell asleep at the wheel and veered over to the opposite side of the road, we hit another car head on.

I don't remember any of the above as I was asleep, however after this happened I remember walking into a grey zone, another plane that was like a duplicate of this Earth. I wondered were my friend was because, although I couldn't see him I knew he definitely was not on this plane...it was just a knowing from somewhere I can't explain. I felt lost and confused it was hazy and I was walking through bush, trees...just wandering. It was misty grey, foggy almost.

I was not afraid but neither joyful, just confused and dreamy. All of a sudden a firm father like voice told me "You must go back, you cannot stay here" it was not an evil voice just firm, as I was the type of person that would likely not listen to a softer tone. This voice I listened to and remember almost instantly becoming present again in my body, but it was only my head, near were some would call the third eye area that I was present, like my soul wanted to just sit there because my injuries were so bad. I was looking down with no knowledge of time, space or identity, it was just nothing, no feeling and looking at someone else's body. My body made a weak moan and my soul I think it must have been was wondering were it came from because it was so loud in the head area were I or we sat, very strange experience.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Uncertain      It seems surreal, and I only remember it once I came out of ICU and accepted the accident had happened.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Uncertain      Not sure if this question means life threatening while have the experience or life threatening here on Earth?  (i.e. the accident that caused the experience?)

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?    Uncertain

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Uncertain      Not sure at all about this...I often dream now of future events that become real, which I never did before the experience.

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was probably real    The memory of it came flooding back after I was in Incubus my logic brain could not help try to rationalize it as a dream.

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you?            When god told me to go back, it made me realize I was looked after and will always be guided when needed.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:            Experience was probably real    As above, but a little more understanding of what happened as likely being real after reading a lot about it.
