Experience description: 

I was cleaning the undercarriage of a car and it fell off the jack stand.  It fell on me and the pinch weld hit my head and knocked me out.

I was aware of the car falling then I felt a bump, like a mall rock hitting my head and then I got up.  It was like colors were more than colors.  It looked like i could touch them, it felt like the air was silk sheets moving over my body.  I felt like I was being watched, and I looked around and saw no one.  I then turned around and saw my head bleeding.  Then I felt like i was falling and then i was back in my body.  My Wife soon after, came out screaming for the amount of blood coming out of my head.  she drove me to the hospital where I had a minor skull fracture, and I needed 6 stitches.  Other than that I was fine.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?     No

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes

a car fell of a Jack on me

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           It was just as if I knew what was going around all around me.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No, It was a bit foggy but definitely not a dream.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes

I didn't see myself.  But I would assume I was in my body form because I stood up.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            I honestly felt like you feel after a good cry.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?           yes, the air seemed to have the sound of Sheets moving over your ears.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?    Yes

I was still in my Driveway, I saw my house, the front, side, and back yard.  I did not see any other people/creatures there.

Did you see a light?           Uncertain

There wasn't a light, but colors and the day light seemed to be alive, or moving in a way.

Did you meet or see any other beings?           No

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?          Yes

It was like I had 2 sets of eyes, and that sound was coming from all directions.  Everything seemed to feel cooler, softer.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Uncertain

It seemed like time stopped, but yet it was still moving just past my arms length.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes

I now believe we can have an OBE.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       I do not use jack stands anymore, I use a lift.  My Wife will not let me be alone for too long when I am working.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         No

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  about 3 seconds of Joy, Sadness, Hope.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      The worst part was when i saw myself and felt like i was falling.  when I awoke I felt let down, very dirty.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         Yes, Sometimes when I sleep, I feel that I'm falling, then I wake up just like I did when I had the accident.
