EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I was walking towards these human shapes, I could not make out faces but everybody was  like sort of waiting to greet me, I felt like I was coming back home and the feeling of happiness coming from the human shapes present was so overwhelming that I have never in my life felt so wanted and love in sort of a  morbid way I was mad that I came back because I felt like I had known and love them all my life it felt like I was coming back  to a place that was a part of me that made complete

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes     my heart went into a very high beating and the doctor had to use the paddles to restore a normal heart beat

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    before I came back

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness?    More consciousness and alertness than normal

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?  Yes     I was able to see but I could not focus on specifics

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?            No      

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Uncertain

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            happiness, love, peace

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          Yes     it wasn't a tunnel per say but they shapes were line up making sort of a path that I was walking toward and there was a light at the end

Did you see a light?           Yes     see note above

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     they were shapes I could not focus on the faces no we did not speak it wasn't necessary I could feel their love and happiness

Did you experience a review of past events in your life?    No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No      

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?           No           

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Uncertain      it certainly felt different that here

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     No      

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? No      

Did you become aware of future events?       No           

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?     No      

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     about 2 weeks later I told my doctor after he read the report of what had happen as a matter of fact he asked me where did you go?

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    No      

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was definitely real    everything felt so real and the feelings were so powerful I know this was something special right after I came back

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you?    the whole thing was overwhelming

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:            Experience was definitely real    it has helped to cope better with situations and relations in my life

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?           Yes     now the people close to me mean a lot more and even strangers I try to treat better
