Experience description:
My heart stopped during an operation. I suddenly saw a clear light in a
tunnel. As I entered further into the tunnel I became quite calm and relaxed.
The clear light kept attracting me until I heard a voice mention my name.
I then retraced my steps back through the tunnel and I lived again.
Was the kind of experience
difficult to express in words?
Uncertain I didn't have words to describe the experience until I met others
who had experienced a near death experience.
At the time
of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?
Yes according to the doctors, I was dead

clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?

Uncertain
What emotions did you feel
during the experience?
a glorious
warmth and relaxation
Did you pass into or through
a tunnel or enclosure?
Yes
the light was at the end of the tunnel
Did you see a light?
Yes a clear light that does not exist on earth

beings? No

of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:
Experience was probably real. I could not really understand this until the
doctors told me that I was really dead.

Experience was definitely real
Now that I have talked with others, I believe this experience to be definitely real.

Yes
