Recall being upside down and flying through the air.  Landed in a ditch.  I felt nothing as if my mind and body were separated.  Found myself in a white clouded tunnel with a bright white light at the end. I was enjoying the experience so much that I became angry when people on the scene offered emergency assistance.  I wanted to be left alone  Recall someone asking if I were dead.  I said no I wasn't dead. At that point I lost the tunnel.  The rest is history.  I am still here.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes     Struck broadside by a car while riding a motor cycle

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    I was not conscious of what was going on around me.  I was focused on the "tunnel" experience.  Didn't want it to go away.  I wanted to get to the end of the tunnel.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Extreme pleasure

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience?     No      

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     Shared over the years during casual conversation.  No noteworthy reaction by anyone.

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    No

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         Yes     Heavy dosages of pain killers while hospitalized for accident reproduced to a lesser extent the feeling of floating in white clouds. There was however no tunnel or bright light at the end.
