EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

            I was riding behind a boat on an inflatable tube. This other girl and I fell off. I remember being underwater and my head hurting and was afraid I had hit my head on the other girls hip. My head hurt so bad I new I didn't want to pass out cause I was under water but all I could think about was the pain in my head. The next thing I remembered was seeing a crane and thinking someone had drowned and they were pulling them out of the water. When I was closer I saw a beautiful bright light. I looked into the water an could see the body and recognized it was me. I thought I couldn't of drown cause here was, I looked toward the light and saw a angle an she said it was time to go back.  I didn't want too, I felt like I dropped down into my body. I thought the image was close to the top but I had to swim up a long ways.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes     I was riding an inflatable tube behind a boat

            No       There were no verbal communication

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            peaceful, calmness

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          No      

Did you see a light?           Yes     I saw an incredible bright light, it was so soft an when I was surrounded by it there was a angle within

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Yes     There was a angle. I couldn't really see but felt, she told me it was time to go back

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   Yes     I felt like I was suspended, weightlessness

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     It was a long time, no he didn't believe me

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?    Yes     I have heard stories

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:            Experience was definitely real    I forgot about the experience initially, the when I was wanting to get closer to god I started to remember the event

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you?            When I was with the light it was so calm and peaceful

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:            Experience was definitely real            The experience was very real.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?           Uncertain      I always ask for god to show me a sign....Now I realize that is a sign there is a god
