Experience description:

At approximately 7: 00 a.m. I fell asleep while driving. My car went off the road and when I tried to get back on I over corrected and hit a tree. I was thrown 20 feet out of the car. My injuries were; five vertebrae in my back and one in my neck were fractured, broke the femur on my right leg, broke the tibula/fibula and smashed the ankle on my left leg, both of my scapulas were broken, nine ribs were broken but, the most life threatening was my right shoulder. It had been torn open and was bleeding profusely. I don't remember the accident, but I do remember seeing my dad. He passed away June 2002, but that morning I saw him very clearly. He was standing above me, looking down, and he said "not know little one, we need you here." There was a bright light all around him and behind him. He was glowing. I felt very safe and very loved. The next thing I remember is thinking that I was being abducted by aliens, but it was the helicopter ride that I was taking to the hospital. After this I remember waking up in the hospital and telling my brothers "I saw dad."
