I was at the oral surgeons office this morning for a dental implant and I had  nitrous oxide, which I have had before but I've never had this experience before.  I felt like I was quickly going toward this long, very bright light and I saw a shadow of a man and I realized and thought "I am dying, I have to go back to my children" and I kept thinking my daughter's name and I woke up and I had tears running down my face and the dr. and his assistant's were acting very concerned and told me that I gave them a scare.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?    when I remembered my children needed me.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            I felt curious I think, like I wanted to go and keep going but then when I saw the BRIGHT light and the shadow of someone and realized that I was leaving my children I felt scared and wanted to come back.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure?          Yes     at first it was dark and it wasn't until I saw the long tunnel of white, bright light that I realized where I was... I did not go through it... I wanted to go back to my children... it happened so fast...

Did you meet or see any other beings?           Uncertain      I saw a shadow of a man (I think) and that is when I thought I am dying and I want my daughter
