Experience description:

Hello, I’m writing you all the way from Portugal to tell you about my grandfather’s nde.

He had a serious pneumonia about a month ago. He went to coma when the situation was really bad. During that coma he had a nde. He saw himself outside is body, and he begun a journey. He went through a corridor (not walking with is feet but something like “sliding”), a dark corridor where there were freak’s trying to reach him. That people was real aberrations but they couldn’t touch him, because there was something like an invisible mirror that won’t let them. When he was coming to the end of that tunnel he saw himself in the other side. It was very shinning, a beautiful garden where he told me he could listen a magnificent music in a quiet volume. In that place there were a group of people like waiting for him. They were all in white, and they all had in their clothes a rose painted. That rose was on their chests. It was a normal rose with two leafs, one for the right side and one to the left side of the stem. The rose was still in bud.

One of those persons came sliding to him with one of those roses in his hand and when he was going to deliver him the rose he heard a male voice saying: “It’s not time”. He said it twice and that person turned into to another direction. Then my grandfather saw himself making the way back.

He asked if I could find what’s the meaning of this experience! Specially the meaning of that rose. Can you help me?

Thanks,

Ricardo

NDERF responds: Thanks for sharing this inspiring account Ricardo!  This experience has remarkable and powerful content.

My thoughts on the rose are as follows.  The rose is a symbol of love.  The leaves on each side symbolize the rose is fully alive.  The group of people with this type of rose painted on their clothes suggests they are all part of the same "soul group" as your grandfather.  They are his extended family on the other side waiting to greet him.  The placement of the rose on the chest, over the heart, reinforces the love meaning of the rose.  The rose is still in the bud, meaning the love expressed still has much growing to do.  A rose bud also means transformation, changing from a closed state to fully open wide and bloom; a powerful promise for your grandfather (and us all) as his life transforms from the physical to spirit.

Thanks again for sharing Ricardo!
