Stéphane R Near Death Experience

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I was completely outside time, so I can't say how long the experience lasted. There was a single intense light with no way of fixing its direction or duration. This light was not a blinding light. I myself was a comparable light, partially detached from the other light, I find it difficult to convey this in words. I had a conversation with the light but this was not conducted in words. The light emitted a numberless multitude of voices,  of incomparable perfection by earthly standards. These voices, all in chorus, sang a single word, which was Alleluia, and the length of the chanting of this single word, sung a single time, is quite impossible to express by any measure of earthly time. This one word being sung was at the same time an immense transference of revelations concerning me, the creation, the scriptures, the sense and goal of my own life, and on life and death. When the experience came to an end, I woke up in the resuscitation unit with the conviction that I should not talk about it, but that I also had a duty to do so, that the way in which I should speak about it would come to me in the course of earthly life. At no time in the experience did I see the earth, nor my body, nor any dear ones who had predeceased me.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes. The way the light and I communicated. The encounter with myself. The goal of the experience and its necessary nature.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event? Yes. Cranial trauma, coma, respiratory arrest, convulsions, tetanus, all necessitating a helicopter evacuation to a resuscitation unit. The medical opinion given to my family was that my life was in danger.

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? Throughout the experience both my state of consciousness and my lucidity were above what one has in earthly life, and I don't think I exaggerate if I say that one cannot imagine such a high state of consciousness mediated by a human brain.

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal

If your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience was different from your normal every day consciousness and alertness, please explain: Throughout the experience both my state of consciousness and my lucidity were above what one has in earthly life, and I don't think I exaggerate if I say that one cannot imagine such a high state of consciousness mediated by a human brain.

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)? Uncertain. Not having seen anything material nor felt any physical sensation I cannot reply precisely. I did not perceive with eyes, ears, etc... It was completely different from the 5 human senses.

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?
Yes. I did not hear with my auditory human sense. I cannot define this more exactly as it seems to me that words do not allow it.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body? No

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Plenitude, happiness, duty, perfect accord, pleasant and legitimate submission.

Did you pass into or through a tunnel or enclosure? No

Did you see a light? Yes. There was only this light without any notion of time or space. I myself was an associated light.

Did you meet or see any other beings? No

Did you experience a review of past events in your life? No

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later? No

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions? No

Did you have any sense of altered space or time? Yes. Quite simply, time and space did not exist and had no more meaning. At no point did I think about these baseless notions.

Did you have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose? Yes. Absolute knowledge, but without being able to conceive the whole nature of the supreme being, though aware of its existence. I don't really know what to say... I would like to put it like this: He is "more than real but beyond conception, whatever the level of knowledge, even absolute knowledge".

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure? No

Did you become aware of future events? No

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you did not have prior to the experience? Yes. The ability to converse with the deepest self (soul) without recourse to reflection. The faculty of being amazed by everything, as well as that of seeing the immaturity, the unawakened state of those around me and the weakness of their behavior. Their dependence on the material and their inability to be in awe of it.

Have you shared this experience with others? No

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience? Yes. I knew that they existed without being able to be certain of their truth. I knew that those who had them saw deceased beings, sometimes angels, a light at the end of a tunnel.

How did you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real. Like an inestimable privilege, already programmed, which is the goal of my existence in this life. Something inevitable and which I myself had approved, something I had chosen of my free will.

Were there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or significant to you? Yes, the transmission of a profound knowledge of things, my instant awakening to the truth and the certainty of my duty to pass it on.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience ?  Experience was definitely real, and on the 5th, 6th and 7th March 2012 I was seized with an irresistible desire to write about it. On my computer I composed a series of texts, ranging from poetry to philosophy, and even fundamental revelations on the scriptures, life and death, spirituality and everything which is revealed in the state of awakeness where I found myself during the experience. I also have an intimate conviction that the content of this document was dictated to me. It is 50 pages long and I composed it without understanding it until I re-read it completely. This all necessitated 3 testing sessions over 3 days. A bit like automatic writing, but on a PC keyboard. Up to now, only one other and most trusted person has read it. The comments he made were that it is extremely well-composed, fascinating and that it has changed his life definitively.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience? Yes. I know now why I had a profound conviction that the spiritual dimension and the supreme being existed, and why no religion was perfectly fitted to my beliefs.
Have your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your experience? Yes. I know now why I had a profound conviction that the spiritual dimension and the supreme being existed, and why no religion was perfectly fitted to my beliefs.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience? No

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience? Yes, I have saved the document and printed it. I have bound it and I know it will be published one day. Perhaps not by me, but I know the work I had to do has been completed.

Did the questions asked and information you provided so far accurately and comprehensively describe your experience? Uncertain. I cannot express more than words will allow me to.

Are there any other questions we could ask to help you communicate your experience? Do you have the feeling of a persistent link with the beyond?
Do you remember your dreams more often since the experience?
Are they more precise, and do you understand them better than before the experience?
