Julie B Near Death Experience

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I was 21, my husband and I just finished making love, when all of a sudden I found myself in the worst pain I've ever been in. I felt like I was going to throw up,and have diarrhea all at the same time. I went to bathroom,as the pain increased I fell forward,my husband caught me and laid me down on the floor,He left to call 911, that's when all of a sudden I was standing on green grass I believe I looked forward and saw my dead grandmother,and my dead cousin I felt no more pain, there was a brightness behind them,I felt happy, loved and realized I must have died. I said wait I can't be dead I haven't had any children yet. Then I was back in my body,I awoke still with pain, my husband helped me to the couch and waited for 911.911 only took a couple of minutes, but by the time they reached me the pain, and other symptoms were gone. I felt 100 percent better. The paramedics took my blood pressure it was normal,I was normal, just as if nothing ever happened. we went on and had three beautiful girls,all healthy.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?       Yes   At the time I was using speed,a little

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words?  No      

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?           Uncertain      I'm not sure,I had been using speed,I believe that's why my body was shutting down.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?            I was unconscious

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?      Yes     I saw my dead grandma,and cousin,and new I must have died.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?             I felt such happiness,no pain,love and peace..

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?            no

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?             Yes     It seemed to me what heaven would be like

Did you see a light?            Yes     there was light behind my dead grandmother,and cousin. It was very bright and felt warm.

Did you meet or see any other beings?            Yes     yes,my grandmother and cousin

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state?  No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?           Yes     myself,I only herd myself say ( I can't be dead,I haven't had any children yet).

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?           Uncertain            I do remember feeling warm like the sun was all around me.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?    No      

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?     Uncertain            I knew I wanted children,and hadn't had any as of that time.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?              No      

Did you become aware of future events?        No      

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?        Uncertain      I didn't feel like I had any choice,but I really wanted to have a baby.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?          No      

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?    Yes     I used to fear death before this happened to me,not any more

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?        It made me not fear death any longer,I also started getting interested in knowing what the bible had to say.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?          No      

Have you shared this experience with others?          Yes     I told my husband right away,he knew I wasn't lying,but he just ignored my experience.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?   I was happy in knowing if I died I would be going back there,back to peace.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?       The worst part was the pain before I went,The best part was seeing my relatives,and feeling like I had made it to heaven.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?         It's a very embarrassing way to have this type of out of body experience,this is why I don't go around telling everyone.
