EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

My sixteen year old son and I had just driven back from visiting my husband. I remembered we had to return a video we pulled in the driveway of our house he was driving. He jumped out of the car and I watched him go into the house. I don't remember anything else except driving and I was looking at him thinking to my self he is so handsome. I can't believe I didn't notice how handsome he was. This overwhelming feeling of love be madly in love swept over me. He was talking to someone I noticed he was radiating a beautiful white light, I thought to myself that the sun was shining in and I looked at the windshield. I thought to myself that the sun wasn't that bright. I looked back at him and then he took a deep breathe in and out. I reached up to touch him when I heard the shattering of glass and then I saw my hand and the bone sticking out of my wrist. I looked at the dash board and it was like slow motion coming closer to me then I looked at the steering wheel and it was doing the same thing. I notices my son wasn't sitting there and then realized what happened and to me I was yelling save my son! I saw a blonde haired man through the windshield on the passenger side and smoke coming out to the engine. He was saying it's going to catch fire. That's the last thing I remember until the hospital the next day. I had no head injury just compound fracture of my left wrist, sprained ankle, broken ribs. My 16 year old son was reported dead on the scene.

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words? Yes Only the amount of love that I felt. I have never felt so in love in my life. That feeling continued Months after the accident. I was so madly in love with everyone and everything.

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event? Yes I was in a head on car accident

At what time during the experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness? The beginning

How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every day consciousness and alertness? Less consciousness and alertness than normal It was like I was dreaming.

Did your vision differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)? I don't remember and he drove 8 miles before the accident. And I remember the funeral service but I don't remember taking his body to the cemetery or anything else on that day.

Did your hearing differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)? I didn't hear anything except one man and glass.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body? Yes Two unknown men pulled me out of the car. Nobody knows who they were or what they were driving. My neighbors mother-in-law was talking to them when they pulled me out. Even the people whom my son hit said there was two men but nobody knows anything about the. She is a nurse she thought I was dead and said that I said something and almost gave her a heart attack.

What emotions did you feel during the experience? Over whelming feeling of being in love with everything.

Did you see a light? Yes a magnificent white light as if it was coming out of my son.

Did you seem to understand everything? Everything about the universe Overwhelming feeling of being in love with everything and everyone.
