EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

I had just turned 21 three days prior and I was in my college housing apartment with two friends. I was preparing the free base Cocaine and I was the first one (and only one) to smoke. I remember lighting the flame and putting it to the pipe. The next thing I remember was being in place of the most comfortable warmth , a bright warmth, and peace one could ever imagine. I had no fear what so ever and I knew I was somewhere far from where I should be but I did not care. This was the place where no harm could ever come to me. It was perfect warmth and peace and comfort and I loved it. Then I remember starting to wake up and I was mad because I wanted to stay where I was. I did not want to come back to this world. When I awoke I was in the hospital.  The nurse told me that I had almost died.

There was a big snow storm out that night and my friends told me that after I smoked the Cocaine that I passed out and fell very hard to the ground. They called 911 and they had to send a four wheel drive to pick me up. I stopped breathing and had no pulse. When the paramedics arrived they injected adrenaline into my heart with a big needle like in Pulp Fiction but I still did not wake up and was rushed to the hospital. I was unaware of any of this and I was unconscious for quite some time. Like I said I remember being in a place that was perfect. It was warm and so comfortable. I remember thinking that I was somewhere special and I did NOT want to go back from which I came. I had a sense of knowing special things but forgot after I woke back up. I remember feeling that death should not be feared after this.
