Shelley S's NDE |
I was on a
gurney. I had and out of body experience, I looked from the side and down and
saw I was being worked on by several people, including the Dr. that performed
the surgery. I felt and knew I was dead. I felt and knew it was ok. I then
went through a void (tunnel) floating with an incredible feeling of complete
grace. Ecstasy if you will. Total darkness that was entirely peaceful. The
feeling of peace, love, ecstasy, grace and an all knowing of what is, was
presented to me (through feeling) Much more happened after the operation: life
review, incredible knowledge, extremely heightened knowledge of all things.
Many "gifts" had been heightened and released to me from this experience. **This
had been my second presentation to higher knowledge that had been presented to
me. When I was 17, I had an experience with beings, (I know now they were
guides, showing me many things, world situations in the future) (another whole
story)
Was the kind of experience
difficult to express in words?
No
At the time of this
experience, was there an associated life threatening event?
Uncertain Cardiac arrest
At what time during the
experience were you at your highest level of consciousness and alertness?
The second I died, then when I was brought back.
How did your highest level of
consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal every
day consciousness and alertness?
More consciousness and alertness than normal
If your highest level of
consciousness and alertness during the experience was different from your normal
every day consciousness and alertness, please explain:
All my senses were extremely elevated.
Did your vision
differ in any way from your normal, everyday vision (in any aspect, such as
clarity, field of vision, colors, brightness, depth perception degree of
solidness/transparency of objects, etc.)?
Yes Vision was heightened, (extremely sensitive to light afterwards)
Did your hearing
differ in any way from your normal, everyday hearing (in any aspect, such as
clarity, ability to recognize source of sound, pitch, loudness, etc.)?
Yes Unable to accept loud noises (after operation)
Did you experience a
separation of your consciousness from your body?
Yes
What emotions did you feel
during the experience?
ecstasy, love, peace, grace, joy
Did you pass into or through
a tunnel or enclosure?
Yes
Floating through a tunnel, complete darkness (which was a very graceful feeling)
Did you see a light?
No
Did you meet or see any other
beings? No
Did you experience a review
of past events in your life?
Yes Like a revolving slideshow. It was hit and miss. Learned about emotional
items in my life.
Did you
observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that
could be verified later?
Uncertain Observed the physician who made the mistake and watched her in the
hallway. But she only admitted once to me afterwards in ICU, but never admitted
again when asked in front of another person.
Did you
see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or
dimensions?
Uncertain Not in this operation, but had previously in another experience.
Did you
have any sense of altered space or time?
Yes There was a feeling and knowing of no time or space.
Did you
have a sense of knowing special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?
Yes All was felt and telepathy of special knowledge and universal order. No
fears of the future before and after the surgery.
Did you
reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?
Uncertain A tunnel (which felt long and lengthy)
Did you
become aware of future events?
Uncertain
I was shown future events from another experience, when I was 17. I
was shown 911 exactly, but was unaware at the time because the Twin Towers had
not even been built, but as soon as it happened-it came back to me. I knew that
was what I had been shown.
Did you
have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience you
did not have prior to the experience?
Yes Many special gifts were heightened. Feeling peoples colors around them.
Understanding what people were thinking. Seeing into other dimensions.
Feeling peoples energy that I came into contact with.
Have
you shared this experience with others?
Yes I was immediately guided (about 6 weeks after surgery) to a local
physician whose specialty was NDE's. She helped my tremendously to stay
anchored.
Did you
have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?
No
How did
you view the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it
happened:
Experience was definitely real Did not know what was happening at first, but I
knew what had happened was real and I had no fear. I could not talk to anyone
who understood until I was guided to a certain physician in town, who had an
experience herself.
Were
there one or several parts of the experience especially meaningful or
significant to you?
All were
meaningful
How do
you currently view the reality of your experience:
Experience was definitely real There is no explanation, it was what it
was.
Have your
relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes
Many people are
very painful to be around. I can feel their energy immediately, and I have
learned to trust my feelings. Not judgment, but energy suckers.
Have
your religious beliefs/practices changed specifically as a result of your
experience?
Yes
Much more aware
of the presence of a higher power in my life.
Following the
experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or
substances which reproduced any part of the experience?
No
Is
there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?
This has
been the most wonderful experience I have ever had, and I am truly grateful,
that I returned and am able to pass along the knowledge to my family and
friends. (about life and death from my eyes)
Did the
questions asked and information you provided so far accurately and
comprehensively describe your experience?
Yes Lots,
lots more has happened in my life, as far as paranormal experiences. But this
was the most profound. I taped all my experiences afterwards, and have actually
forgotten most,( life has a way of interfering) but when I go back to my tapes,
It all comes back to me.
